Leaf it Alone has no official mod support, no Steam Workshop and no Nexus Mods page as of November 2026. The official way to change the game is Custom Mode, added free in update 1.1. Beyond that, players use Cheat Engine tables and trainers for money, speed and unlimited bags, at their own risk.
Is There Mod Support?
The Steam store page lists single-player, achievements, Steam Cloud, stats, leaderboards and family sharing. It does not list Steam Workshop. We found no Nexus Mods or Thunderstore pages for the game either.
Developer Eternity has not announced mod tools in any official post. Its 1.1 plans focused on new maps, Custom Mode and quality-of-life features. The developers did say they will open community-based translations for the major update.
Custom Mode: The Official Alternative
Update 1.1 on October 30, 2026 added Custom Mode, which the developers describe as their take on New Game+. It unlocks once you finish a map in Story Mode. Before a run, you can change several rules.
- Set your starting money.
- Adjust the income multiplier.
- Choose which tools you start with.
- Unlock all tool upgrades.
- Open all areas along with their cleaning rewards.
Custom Mode does not unlock achievements if you change the settings. If you start with default settings and turn on Ranked, achievements and leaderboards still count. The developers say they may add more options later.
Cheat Engine Tables
The most complete option is a Cheat Engine table by SeryogaSK on Open Cheat Tables, licensed GPL-3.0 and last updated January 26, 2026. A YouTube channel called Seryoga's Modding Hub showcases it. Its options cover movement, money and leaves.

Trainers
MrAntiFun lists Steam trainers for the game through WeMod, with options such as a never-full leaf bag, unlimited money and game speed. Plitch and FLiNG also list the game. One FLiNG page is marked as not working.
Trainers and tables can break when the game updates, especially after a big patch like 1.1. Check that a tool supports your game version before using it. Always keep a backup of your saves.
Stay Safe
Back up your saves before editing anything. PCGamingWiki lists the settings file under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Eternity\Leaf it Alone, and the in-game Open Saves Folder button works since patch 1.0.15. Cheats can ruin achievement runs and leaderboard results.
Avoid sites offering money generators or anything that asks for your Steam login. The game has no real-money shop or separate account. The game is only sold for Windows on Steam, so Android "mod APK" pages are unofficial.
Save Files Are Not Mods
The Steam community shares save files for some achievements, such as a Need for Sweep save. These are finished saves, not mods. Using them skips the challenge rather than changing the game.
If you want an easier time without cheats, Custom Mode is the cleaner choice. You can start with tools and upgrades already unlocked. That keeps your normal Story saves untouched.
About the Game and Platforms
Leaf it Alone is made and published by Eternity, and launched on Steam on October 30, 2025. It runs on Windows 10 or later and is Steam Deck Verified. It supports English and 12 more languages.
There is no console or mobile version announced. That is worth knowing, because many sites offer fake mobile mod downloads. Any real mod or tool has to target the Steam PC version.
Official Settings That Change the Game
Before reaching for cheats, check the options the game already gives you. Update 1.1 added input rebinding for keyboard and gamepad, plus an input toggle split into tools and abilities. A built-in speedrun timer can also be switched on.
Patch 1.0.14 added a Motion Comfort option that reduces sprint FOV changes and turns off head bobbing. Patch 1.0.7 added Invert Y Axis. Patch 1.0.9 let you resize the game window in windowed mode.
Mods, Cheats and Leaderboards
The game has Steam leaderboards for Any%, All Leaves and All Objectives. Custom runs only count when Ranked is on with default settings. The developers set it up this way so everyone competes under the same rules.
Speedrun.com also keeps its own leaderboard with strict rules. Runs that use cheats or edited saves will not be accepted. Keep any modding to a separate save that you do not submit.
Community Translations
The closest thing to official community content is translation work. In February 2026 the developers said they would open community-based translations for the major update. They added that no new languages would arrive before then.
Players have already helped, and patch notes thank community members for Korean, Japanese and Russian fixes. Korean arrived in patch 1.0.16. Italian, Spanish, Czech and Japanese came in patch 1.0.12.
Getting Help Without Mods
If a bug is pushing you toward cheats, contact the developers first. They ask players to send save files to support@eternitygames.net or message them on the official Discord. They have fixed many stuck-leaf and save issues this way.
Patch 1.0.12 even added an automatic save validator that repairs saves hit by an old leaf inlet bug. Keeping the game updated solves most problems. Cheats are rarely needed just to finish an area.

For most players, Custom Mode covers what they wanted from a mod. It is built into the game and survives updates. Cheat tools may break whenever the game updates.
